Job Duties: 

• Architect and deliver integrated observability and AIOps ecosystems as part of enterprise technology initiative, enabling unified monitoring, automated operations, and service reliability across global environments.  

• Design target-state monitoring architectures covering infrastructure, network, platforms, Kubernetes/microservices, APIs, databases, application performance, and end-user experience across on-prem, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.  

• Engineer integrations between enterprise observability platforms and ITSM/Event Management systems to support auto-ticketing, contextual enrichment, alert correlation, and structured escalation workflows.  

• Collaborate with Software Engineering, DevOps, SRE, and Infra teams to define and integrate observability architectures that improve system reliability, support root cause analysis, and provide actionable operational insights.  

• Design and integrate end-to-end telemetry pipelines (metrics, logs, traces, events) into AIOps frameworks to enable anomaly detection, automated RCA, noise reduction, and predictive operational insights.  

• Develop  automated deployment and configuration management architectures for observability agents and collectors at scale across thousands of servers, containers, and network devices, using automation and configuration management tools and practices.

Skills Required: 

• Experience with observability and monitoring architectures. 

• Minimum requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications,Information Systems, Engineering or a related field, or a foreign equivalent and 6 months of experience in the job offered or related occupation involving monitoring and observability. 

• Job locations in Aurora, IL & various unanticipated client sites nationally requiring relocation and travel to these sites involving short- and long-term assignments. 

• U.S. payrate $81,702 /year.  Principals only.
